Summary Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resource Systems, the Coordinator is a member of the Human Resources support services team and is responsible for the integrity of employee human resource data and transactions.
Please note this position can work from either Regional office (Surrey or Vancouver) Key Accountabilities Employee Lifecycle : Support the Human Resource team through recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding Support full cycle onboarding of frontline and support service positions, ensuring a smooth transition into the team, culture and organization Pro-actively manage the employee experience and prepare team members by acting as an ambassador Support communities with preparation and delivery of employment offers as needed Create employment agreements for new members in the support services team and community leadership and administration Following up and track exit survey issue and completion Administer offboarding process for all team members in assigned region Manage internal assets for onboarding and offboarding purposes Data Integrity : Guardian of information sent to payroll and other support departments, review, correct, monitor and deliver accurate and relevant information Coordinate the Electronic Employee Change Form (ECF) process, identify and communicate changes and resolve system issues Assist with payroll administration, ensuring accuracy of documentation collection and timely payments Responsible for maintaining accurate version control of template documents Maintain data accuracy, integrity and compliance Create new electronic files and manage employee data and documents, including updates Maintain and uphold confidentiality in all internal and external interactions Lead, coordinate and deliver onboarding for support office team members and community leaders Draft employment related documentation Inter-departmental Team Coordination : Responsible for management of the HR Email Inbox, including redirecting and responding to all communications addressed to the HR team First point of contact for responding to incoming emails to ensure inquiries and requests are managed and resolved in a timely manner Contribute to process improvements that support the streamlining of Human Resource operations efficiencies Liaise with the HR Advisors and HR leadership on compliance related communications, written and verbal Liaise with community leadership to assist and support with information and coordination Assist with ad hoc data collection and organization Qualifications and Experience : Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in Human Resources Administration Completion of a post-secondary program in Human Resources is an asset Experience working successfully in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple communities and competing priorities Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy Understanding of the workers’ compensation process, working in union environments and adhering to collective agreements Knowledge of provincial labour laws in Alberta & British Columbia Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion Advanced computer literacy including effective working skills with Microsoft Suite, specifically Teams, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work independently and in a team setting Miscellaneous : Other duties as assigned Conditions of Employment : Clear Police Information Check Benefits : Employee assistance program Extended health care benefits(dental, vision) Self Directed Health Savings Account RRSP match Optima Days Powered by JazzHR
