OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE- Gravenhurst, Ontario
Residential & Light Commercial
$65,000–$85,000 Base Salary + Up to 2.5% Sales Commission

Established multi-trade contractor serving Muskoka and surrounding communities, specializing in plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, generators, and water systems.

Looking for someone who enjoys meeting customers, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and closing sales.
This position focuses primarily on residential equipment installations, replacements, and upgrades, with additional opportunities in light commercial applications.
Heating, Cooling & Comfort

Heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and ductless mini-splits
High-efficiency furnaces and boilers
Heating and cooling equipment replacements and upgrades
Residential and light commercial HVAC solutions

Electrical & Backup Power

Generac automatic standby generators
Electrical service and panel upgrades
Residential and light commercial backup power solutions
Other electrical equipment upgrades

Plumbing & Water Systems

Water filtration, treatment, and UV disinfection systems
Water softeners and specialty filtration equipment
Lake water and well water pressure systems
Booster pumps and water supply equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet with homeowners and light commercial customers to assess their needs.
Manage company-generated sales leads and develop new business opportunities.
Conduct on-site consultations and recommend appropriate equipment and solutions.
Prepare and present professional estimates and proposals.
Follow up on outstanding quotes, negotiate, and close sales.
Build strong customer relationships and generate repeat business and referrals.
Work closely with our estimating, scheduling, and installation teams.
Maintain accurate sales records and meet established sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2–5 years of outside sales or related experience.
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or equipment sales is an asset.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Confidence presenting proposals and closing sales.
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple product lines.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented.
Valid Ontario driver's licence.

WHAT WE OFFER

Base salary of $65,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience.
Up to 2.5% commission on eligible sales generated.
