Job description

Reporting directly to the Fleet & Assets Manager:

You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines.

You will utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs.

You will complete repairs in a timely manner.

You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

You will keep work environment clean and tidy.

You will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division).

Requirements

Your Profile

  • You are registered with the STO as 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic or dual Mechanic *preference will be given to dual licenced mechanics
  • You have ODP certification with A/C experience.
  • You have experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.
  • You have superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies.
  • You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
  • You have excellent proven customer service experience.
  • You have a valid G class driving license.
  • You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
