Our agriculture client is actively seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Bookkeeper to join their small, close-knit team. Primary Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for two interconnected entities (for-profit and non-profit)
Maintain accurate financial records and complete month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Process payroll
Assist with financial reporting and collaborate with external consultants
Support international transactions, including accruals and USD exposure
Assist with shipping and customs-related documentation as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support ongoing financial operations

Qualifications and Experience:

3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, ideally within a small to mid-sized organization
Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting/ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and work independently
Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Simcoe (ideally within 30 minutes)
