Integrated Staffing is hiring an Accounting Support Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading organization in Scoudouc / Moncton , NB . This contract role (6–9 months) offers hands-on accounting experience, hybrid work options after onboarding, and the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger in accordance with company policies and GAAP
Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Assist with CRA audit preparation, including documentation, schedules, and reports
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Support other accounting tasks, including accounts payable / receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting or finance experience, including journal entries and reconciliations
Familiarity with CRA audits and Canadian tax regulations is an asset
Proficiency in Syspro ERP is highly desirable
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
CPA designation is an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation & Details
Hours : Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Pay Rate : TBD
Duration : 6–9 months contract
Location : Scoudouc, NB (initially on-site; hybrid option after onboarding)
