Job Description :
Our Toronto real-estate client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for managing various accounting functions across multiple companies. You will be involved in everything from accounts payable / receivable to payroll and property-related transactions, requiring coordination with banks and lawyers. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of general bookkeeping, be proactive, and provide accurate and timely financial support. The ideal candidate will be available for daily on-site work and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

In this role you will report to management and be responsible for bookkeeping duties for multiple entities :
- Manage general accounts payable and receivable
- Facilitate property purchases, coordinating with banks and lawyers
- Prepare and file monthly HST returns
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Handle payroll processing and related remittances
- Manage WSIB remittances
- Oversee and maintain Shareholder loans
- Provide timely and trusted responses to inquiries
- Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records
- Perform bank deposits and ensure accuracy
- Invoice and collect rent payments
- Reconcile and pay monthly Visa statements
- Record and manage intercompany transactions
