Job descriptionConduct daily quality checks throughout the evaluation process. Record and communicate lab results to the Plant Management Team. Perform additional testing and analysis when required. Assist QA Manager in monthly food safety audit checks. Assist the QA manager in completing twice yearly mock recalls. Oversee the non-conforming product program ensuring accurate documentation. Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and in working order. Ensure department tasks are carried out correctly and in a safe, timely manner. Degree qualification preferred. Trained in statistical process control (SPC). Familiarity with third party audits. Two years of quality assurance or manufacturing experience, or a combination of both. Ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently. Organised and able to handle multiple tasks at any one time. Self-directed, able to work autonomously. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Excellent people skills. Strong understanding of coffee and tea components. Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold quality standards. Ability to analyse data and make recommendations on system and process improvements. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
