• Job Description: College or university degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. More than 7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Excellent proficiency with test management tools, strong knowledge of test automation, and relevant experience testing electronic products. Native French speaker, functional English.   Quality Assurance Analyst

  The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst ensures that all products developed by our client meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

  In this role, you will be embedded within the R&D team and will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and documenting software, hardware, and automated tests throughout the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers and engineers to identify issues, track bugs, support debugging efforts, and help ensure product quality before release.

  This role focuses on product testing and analysis during development, rather than production quality control.

  What You'll Do

• Analyze product requirements and specifications to develop test plans and strategies
• Design test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on real-world usage
• Execute functional, software, hardware, and automated tests at various stages of development
• Identify, document, and report defects and anomalies
• Record and track test results using internal tools and bug tracking systems
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Participate in pre-pilot and pilot testing activities, including engineering changes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools
• Prepare detailed test reports, summaries, and recommendations
• Support root cause analysis for software and hardware issues

• Responsibilities may evolve based on business and project needs.

  What You'll Bring

• DEC (college diploma) in Quality Assurance, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
• 6 8 years of experience in QA or quality control roles (software and/or hardware environments preferred)
• Strong experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test reporting
• Experience in manufacturing or product development environments is an asset
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr Scale, Zoho, PML Omnify)
• Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Office
• Familiarity with technologies such as Android, Linux, Windows, Mac OS, and HTML
