Project Manager
Our client is a well established manufacturing firm specializing in store fixtures and displays. They are currently searching for a Project Manager to join them in their office in Vaughan.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all the necessary tasks associated with supporting inquiries, requests, and orders from the Sales team to effectively win and support new or existing business opportunities. You will be part of a team and will help support with technical assistance to Design, Manufacturing and Sales as required in the development of new Point of Purchase Displays and Products.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Manage all the technical and process aspects of an approved sales inquiry or order within the Company.
- Sourcing and specifying off-site materials and services, which will include plastics, metal, wood, packaging, and installation as required.
- Quoting as required from preliminary and / or final renderings and engineering drawings.
- Support the company goals and objectives and commit to a team support role.
- Support the effort in maintaining a project to a committed critical path and provide job estimates and job costing reviews.
- Liaison with sales, design, and manufacturing to achieve team goals.
- Assisting production personnel in job planning.
- Develop and supply detailed timelines and required routing sheets for timeline and efficient production.
- Production line quality control and trouble-shooting support.
- Liaison with outside suppliers and develop key supplier relationships and competitive quality selection.
- Processing of necessary internal documentation and other duties as they are assigned
- Approval of first of production or prototypes.
