Your Role As a Software Project Manager at H55, you will play a key role in driving the success of our software development projects. Reporting to the Software Team Leader, you will collaborate closely to define, plan, and oversee projects involving both Manual Coding and Model-Based Development. You will manage and track development activities performed both internally and by external suppliers, ensuring that all deliverables meet H55’s quality standards, timelines, and project objectives. By aligning project goals with system requirements, resources, and schedules, you will directly contribute to H55’s mission of delivering clean, safe, and efficient electric aviation solutions. This role demands exceptional organizational, and problem-solving skills—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Develop project plans and timelines ensuring alignment with company goals. Collaborate with the Software Team Leader, Software Engineers, Product Architects, External Suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. Manage and track the software development activities performed by external suppliers, ensuring their deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and project requirements. Track project progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies to overcome obstacles. Utilize project management tools (e.g., EasyRedmine, MS Project) to monitor milestones, manage workflows, and maintain transparency. Foster clear and consistent communication to Software team and stakeholders through regular status updates, meetings, and reports. Oversee Agile / Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) to drive team efficiency and productivity. Ensure deliverables meet software quality standards while adhering to project scope, objectives, and timelines. Analyze project performance, generate actionable insights, and recommend improvements for future projects. Manage change requests while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and minimal disruption to project timelines. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience 3 + years of experience as software developer . 3+ years of experience managing software development projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery. Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle for aviation standards , including Manual Code Development (DO-178) and Model-Based Development (DO-331). Project Management Skills Proficiency in project management principles and methodologies, particularly Agile / Scrum. Experience with project management tools such as EasyRedmine (preferred), MS Project, or equivalent platforms. Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of software development processes, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams. Experience with aviation standards such as DO-178 and DO-331 is an advantage. Core Skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Fluent in English; Proficiency in French is a plus Preferred Skills Certification such as Scrum Master (CSM) or PMP is a plus. Familiarity with DevOps and CI / CD processes.
