About the Company
We are a leading electrical engineering firm specializing in Power System Studies, supporting clients across the U.S. with projects that involve building, upgrading, and maintaining complex electrical infrastructure. Our team of engineers is known for technical excellence, strong client relationships, and high standards of customer care.
We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and fast-paced work environment where team members are empowered to take ownership, grow professionally, and make meaningful contributions to company success.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bid Estimator to join our growing team. This role involves reviewing and preparing project proposals for a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with internal engineering teams and client managers to ensure quotes are completed accurately and efficiently.
As a member of a small but rapidly expanding company (40% growth last year with plans to double in two years), you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to operations, client relations, and business process improvements.
We value professional development and promote from within—team members who demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and accountability are rewarded with increased responsibility and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Review project drawings, specifications, and client-provided materials to prepare accurate proposals.
Collaborate with client managers and engineers to clarify requirements, resolve questions, and ensure timely proposal submissions.
Communicate with clients to request additional information, clarify proposals, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Support the preparation of change orders, purchase orders, and cancellations as needed.
Interface with clients and internal teams to manage relationships and address project-related concerns.
Assist leadership with business development and operational initiatives.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in a professional services environment (electrical or engineering industry preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Passion for client success and delivering high-quality service.
