Private Residential & Private On-site Equestrian Property

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Live-In Grounds & Maintenance Caretaker to oversee the year-round care and upkeep of a private residential estate with private equestrian facilities. This is a long-term opportunity for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining property, equipment, and systems to a high standard.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Facilities Manager and Property Owners, working collaboratively to ensure the property is maintained to a high operational and aesthetic standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Snow removal and seasonal grounds maintenance
- Lawn care, field mowing, and arena harrowing
- General repairs and preventative maintenance of buildings and infrastructure
- Operation and maintenance of skid steer, mowers, and related equipment
- Oversight of wells, irrigation systems, ponds, pumps, and septic systems
- Pond & fountain maintenance, including fish care and water monitoring
- Fence maintenance and general landscaping
- Coordinating service providers and contractors as needed
- Assisting with horses (5-10 pending season) as required, occasional feeding, mucking, and night checks

Qualifications
- Experience in estate, agricultural, or large-property maintenance
- Comfortable operating machinery and performing physical outdoor work
- Basic mechanical and handyman skills
- Experience with horses
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass background & security check
