Job description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for coordinating major inspections, installations, and modifications;
  • Participate in all meetings related to the assigned major project;
  • Have complete oversight of the full work package and manage project flow;
  • Support electrical and structural engineering requirements and STC development;
  • Review work package and coordinate all requirements regarding materials, parts, tooling, and outside services;
  • Identify and track milestones with Project Manager/Avionics Manager;
  • Participate in problem solving and finding solutions;
  • Assess all identified defects and provide information to rectify;
  • Complete relevant technical documentation;
  • Support purchasing when applicable;
  • Review work pack to ensure installation labor targets are being met;
  • Review work pack, billing groups and invoices for accuracy;
  • Ensure Log releases are prepared after maintenance;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Avionics Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Post-secondary diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/ Avionics program or related field;
  • Valid Transport Canada E license is required;
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience in avionics project installation;
  • Background in working on Business Aircraft types coupled with experience working on Bombardier product would be an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work as a team leader coupled with supervisory experience would be an asset;
  • Must be attentive to details;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexible to work shifts assigned.
