Join Our Team as a FINANCE SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST – Enhance Efficiency and Innovation!

Are you a financial wizard with a passion for optimizing supply chains? Ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Look no further! We are seeking a Finance Supply Chain Analyst to optimize the financial aspects of our supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless operations.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Support and Optimize: Coordinate financial planning and analysis for our supply chain, contributing to cost-saving strategies and ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cross-Departmental Impact: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to enhance financial performance and support integrated business planning (IBP) activities.
  • Growth and Development: Contribute to risk management, compliance, and strategic decision-making, supporting cross-functional teams and driving company-wide improvements.

We count on your expertise to enhance our inbound and outbound logistics financial processes. You'll coordinate standardized freight reporting, monitor and analyze costs, calculate month-end freight accruals, and track demurrage charges. Additionally, you'll support fleet management and assess fleet maintenance costs.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial models, support the preparation of forecasts and reports, and oversee supply chain cost management.
  • Cost Control: Identify and support the implementation of cost-saving opportunities, analyze procurement and logistics costs, and help manage financial aspects of inbound and outbound logistics.
  • KPI Management: Perform analysis of Days in Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and Days of Coverage (DOC) KPIs, assist in monitoring and analyzing freight costs, and help calculate month-end accruals.
  • IBP Process Support: Increase the maturity level of our IBP process, track benefits, and follow up on customer service and supply chain KPIs.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or supply chain management, with a focus on financial analysis and cost management.

Skills:

  • Digital savvy, with experience using an ERP, and the ability to automate manual processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual French and English is an asset.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Competencies:

  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strategic thinking: Developing long-term strategies for cost management and supply chain optimization.
  • Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Ready to Make a Difference?

If you're ready to take on a challenging role that offers growth, innovation, and the opportunity to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you! Apply today to become a key player in our team and help us drive efficiency and success in our supply chain operations.

WE TAKE CARE OF OUR TEAM through our commitment to continuous learning, supportive team and an attractive total compensation package that includes a bonus, competitive health package and retirement benefits!

Be part of our sustainable mission with opportunities to grow within Nutreco, Trouw Nutrition and the broader SHV group.

Embrace our culture of diversity and inclusion, where we respect and value everyone.

We are committed to employment equity, and we encourage applications from qualified individuals, including women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.

Our corporate values FEED your career: Passion | Inclusivity | Integrity | Trust | Curiosity. These values are engrained into our core and shape everything we do.
