Job descriptionPost-secondary education in creative communications, rhetoric, writing, English or another related field is required. Minimum 2 years of communications experience, demonstrating a strong background in graphic design, content writing, and editing. Experience in the construction and engineering industry is considered an asset. Familiarity with social media management platforms, such as Loomly, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, etc. Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques. A strong portfolio of graphic design and written content showcasing creativity and a comprehensive understanding of design and communication principles. Proficiency in MS Office. Exceptional proficiency in English writing and editing. Above-average attention to detail is required. Experience with graphic design is considered to be a strong asset. Experience with media production, videography, or photography, along with an understanding of lighting techniques and visual composition, is considered an asset. At TPG, we conduct permanent search and recruitment projects from start to finish for all leadership roles within construction and engineering companies, ranging from supervisory to executive-level positions. Our motivated team is driven by the mission to become North America's ?go-to' recruiters in construction and engineering.
Reporting to the President and CEO, the Social Media & Content Specialist will work closely with our Content and Social Media Manager and will be responsible for developing and implementing compelling visual and written content for social media and other marketing channels that resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the leadership and social media team to produce new content ideas and strategies that align with TPG's brand.
- Create high-quality, engaging visual content (such as graphics and video) for social media and other marketing channels to enhance audience engagement and brand presence.
- Collaborate with and support the Social Media & Content Manager in video and audio content production, providing assistance as needed.
- Write persuasive, captivating copy for various communication materials, ensuring grammatical accuracy.
- Research and write keyword-driven content to boost organic traffic and grow TPG's audience.
- Ensure consistency in writing style, fonts, images, tone and overall brand in all TPG content.
- Edit and proofread other team members' written content.
- Collaborate with the Social Media & Content Manager to ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Write and post job descriptions on TPG's website as well as various job boards.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to build relationships and promote TPG's brand.
