We seek a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven
Director of Procurement
to lead our end-to-end procurement operations. You will shape, execute and oversee sourcing strategies, manage key supplier relationships, control costs, and elevate our overall performance. In this role, you will also run and actively oversee all procurement processes and supporting software tools, ensuring effective execution and alignment with business needs. Working closely with Operations, Construction, and Corporate Services teams, you will help drive the business and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Planning :
Design and implement procurement strategies and policies that deliver value and support organizational goals.
National Supplier Relationship Management :
Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strong partnerships with corporate vendors; monitor performance and resolve issues proactively.
Contract Negotiation & Management :
Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms; oversee tenders, bids, quotes, and agreement finalization.
Budgeting & Cost Controls :
Manage procurement budgets, forecasting, and financial plans to maximize cost savings, efficiencies with a view to constant optimization of existing initiatives.
Procurement Operations Oversight :
Supervise the end-to-end procurement cycle ensuring operational alignment and compliance.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics :
Develop KPI dashboards, analyze spend and supplier performance, and drive continuous improvements.
Risk & Compliance Management :
Plan and mitigate risks; ensure adherence to procurement procedures and standards.
Team Leadership & Talent Development :
Lead and mentor the procurement team to foster efficiency and professional growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work with multiple teams to align procurement with broader business objectives.
Fleet Management :
Oversee vehicle acquisition, utilization, and lifecycle management.
Corporate & Community Projects : Own and execute certain corporate or community (building) based projects where required.
