Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Guard – Healthcare!
Location : Various sites within Quinte (Belleville, Picton, Trenton, Bancroft, Cobourg, Port Hope, Campbellford)
Shifts : Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual (Days, Nights, Continental, Rotating Shifts)
Pay Rate : $18.35 – $21.00 / hour
Employment Type : Other
Overview
Join Paladin Security as a Healthcare Security Guard and support safe, dynamic hospital environments across our partner sites. From the fast-paced Quinte Health network to Campbellford’s community-focused care and Northumberland Hills’ broad clinical services, you’ll play a vital role in protecting patients, staff, and visitors while contributing to community well-being.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, visible security presence
- Greet, assist, and direct patients, visitors, and staff
- Protect clients, staff, buildings, and assets
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- Respond to emergencies and support hospital code responses
- Document and report incidents; conduct investigations as required
- Perform patient watches and enforce hospital policies and by-laws
- Manage access control, keys, and parking enforcement
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Assist with monthly safety inspections and other assigned duties
