Job descriptionComply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards Read and interpret weld procedures to determine requirements of the job Utilize different processes and fillers depending on the Client requirements(6010,7018 electrodes or flux core wire) Clean and check weld for defects Attend required safety and tailgate / toolbox meetings May perform other duties as assigned Must be an Alberta registered ticketed journeyman and hold a B-pressure ticket recognized by ABSA Alberta B-Pressure Certificate and current PQR’s may be required Must have experience in roll welding using flux cored wire process on Groove welds and Fillet welds. SUMMARY
The Welder is involved in the joining of pipe, and other piping components.
Location : Fabrication Shop
Shift : 4&3 (Monday to Thursday), days or nights
Salary : $45.30 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation / statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP Matching, and education and training)
- $3.00 / hr night shift premium
- Potential OT available
