Position Details :

Type : Temporary Full-Time
Contract End Date : March 31, 2028
Department : Trauma Therapy Program

Responsibilities :

Patient Assessment : Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including safety risk evaluations; consolidate findings; collaborate with team members.

Care Planning : Develop and document intervention plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Interventions : Provide individual, couples, and group therapy using evidence-based, women-centered, trauma-informed approaches; collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.

Team and Program Development : Monitor waitlists, participate in intake, contribute to program development, and engage in research and professional development.

Education and Supervision : Deliver training on trauma, supervise students, and participate in research initiatives.

Qualifications :

Current registration with a regulated professional college (Social Worker, Psychotherapist, or Occupational Therapist).

Master's degree in a mental health-related discipline.

Minimum three years of clinical mental health experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

Knowledge of community resources and experience with various psychotherapies, including trauma-informed approaches.

Ability to assess childhood trauma issues and facilitate relational groups.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hospital electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.

Excellent communication skills and professional conduct.
