Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee costing, production, variable costs, and inventory accounting.
• Manage multi-currency transactions across multiple companies.
• Monitor cash flow, analyze loans, investments, and oversee foreign exchange contracts and risk management.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly bank reports, including borrower declarations.
• Prepare and file corporate tax returns, tax installments, GST / QST reports, NR4 compliance, and SR&ED-T661 reporting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate annual returns, payroll reports (T4, Relevé 1), and CNESST reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including analysis, comparisons, and ensuring proper cut-offs and accruals.
• Prepare year-end audit files for external auditors, ensuring accurate cut-offs and accruals.
• Manage inventory procedures and scheduling for smooth physical inventory and valuation.
• Oversee payables and receivables, manage credit reports, aging analysis, and supplier follow-ups.
• Conduct monthly inventory evaluations and analysis.

Supervise payroll functions, verify and approve payroll sheets.
