ResponsibilitiesEnsure the financial success of the dealership through rigorous management.
Validate the accounting accuracy of sales files.
Support management in optimizing financial processes.
Analyze financial statements and daily operating indicators.
Develop short- and long-term budget forecasts.
Perform bank and financing reconciliations.
Analyze accounting schedules and inter-company accounts.
Manage government relations and audits.
Process tax remittances and payroll source deductions (DAS).
Prepare monthly reports for management and the manufacturer.
Lead the complete year-end file process.
Produce dashboards and performance analyses.
Manage fixed assets and the depreciation process;
Team supervision.
QualificationsCPA designation (an asset).
Background in industry or coming from an accounting firm.
Automotive industry experience (an asset).
Experience in a Controller role.
Bilingual (French and English)
Note on English Proficiency: Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both verbal and written). Specifically, the employee will need to collaborate with and provide necessary support to colleagues and business functions located outside of Quebec who do not speak French.
