Classification: Full Time Seasonal
Salary: $50,000-$60,000 annually

Batteaux Creek Golf Club is looking for an outgoing and responsible individual that would like to be part of a Golf Course Maintenance team in a fast paced environment. Working with the team will prove to be both enjoyable and rewarding.

Summary:
Opened in 2002, Batteaux Creek Golf Club is a 7,003 yard par 72 golf course located in Nottawa Ontario. Built on over 250 acres, the course features wide bentgrass fairways, oversized greens, extensive bunkering and a series of natural lakes and ponds. We are currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the management team.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Assist in the planning and co-ordination of golf course maintenance operations
● Supervise, train and lead golf maintenance staff
● Preform fertilizer and pesticide applications
● Irrigation scheduling and repairs
● Record keeping and reporting
● Provide and promote safe work practices in conjunction with health and safety protocols
Qualifications:
● Graduate of a post-secondary Turfgrass Management program
● Experience in golf course maintenance
● Landscape Pesticide Applicators License
● Ipm agent certification (or willingness to obtain)
● Team player with a positive attitude
