Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience :
Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and technologies; DMS, Glue, Step Functions
Knowledge in RDBMS
Strong experience working with Python and Typescript
Knowledgeable in the areas of data workload / job orchestration and batch automation technologies, including Linux shell scripting and process orchestration tools
Experience designing and building data environments to support reporting and analytics, including data integrations and flow between disparate data systems.
Experience with data modelling, data engineering, and / or data warehouse building.
Self-starter, ability to work with little direction.
Critical thinker with natural intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication (verbal / written) and presentation skills.
proficient in AWS data pipelines in a financial organization.
Experience writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing T-SQL queries
Experience with Azure SQL
Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power BI datasets
Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards
Experience using SQL Server Management Studio and / or Azure Data Studio
Nice to have :
Informatica and Teradata knowledge
Use of process orchestration tool of ActiveBatch
Data Visualization experience
