Job Title : Field Tax Advisor and Preparer

Location : Keswick, Ontario. Travel within region required.
Employment Type : Full‑time, Permanent
This is a mobile, client‑facing role. You will spend much of your time meeting members across your assigned territory (up to 2 hours of travel in any direction). If you prefer primarily office‑based work, this role is not a fit.

Position Overview
As a Field Tax Advisor & Preparer, you are responsible for meeting FBC members in their place of business to understand their financial situations and provide tailored tax strategies that minimize taxes in both the short and long term. In addition, you will introduce them to our full range of services, including bookkeeping, legal assistance, payroll, and access to financial and estate planning professionals. This includes support in areas such as estate planning, retirement planning, and cash flow management, as their needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional tax and accounting advice to Members.
- Review and file complex personal (T1) and corporate (T2) income tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for a variety of clients, including farm and small business owners.
- Maintain strong client relationships as a primary contact for key accounts.
- Conduct Member reviews.
- Support seasonal and year‑round reconciliations and filings, including GST / HST, T1, T2, and other applicable tax returns.
- Foster strong relationships with Members and secure Member referrals.
- Recognize Member needs and connect them with our other domain experts within the company and network.
