Department :   Animal Resource Centre (ARC)

Reports to :   Manager

Hours : Casual Hours

Wage Range :  $ to $ hourly

Shifts :   Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm, 2-3 shifts per week

Status :   Temporary Casual (8 Month contract)

Closing Date :  February 27, 2026

Position Summary

Animal Attendants within the PM Animal Resource Centre function on a rotation basis through all of the following work areas depending on operational demand. Animal health and welfare must be considered priority of all employees of the ARC. Animal Attendants function in these areas under supervision of the facility supervisor. Animal Attendants must follow departmental and institutional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and are required to sign off on completed tasks at each work area.

Please note : This position is a part of the NOWU bargaining unit.
