Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) / Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)
Total Group of Companies (TGC) is an industrial service company specializing in fire protection, technical rescue, medical, HSE, and safety training services across Western Canada.
TGC is actively seeking registered ACPs or PCPs to start ASAP for an upcoming seismic support project at Suncor Mackay River Site. This role will provide industrial medical coverage and field support for seismic crews operating in a remote environment.
Project Overview
Location : Suncor Mackay River Site
Scope of Work :
Support seismic crews in field operations
Monitor and respond to radio communications
Respond to medical incidents and emergencies
Track and document worker locations as they move throughout the work area
Ensure compliance with site safety and emergency response protocols
Schedule & Mobilization
Travel Date : February 18 (to be on site for February 19)
Project Dates : February 18 – March 12 (including drive days)
Training (If Required) :
Side-by-Side Driver Training may be arranged in Edmonton on Tuesday, February 17
Room and subsistence will be covered for the night before and after the course
Mobilization will occur the morning of February 18

Camp-based position
Room and board provided
Compensation
Rate : $500 / day
Working Environment
Remote oil sands location
Winter conditions and variable terrain
Field-based support role requiring mobility and strong radio communication
Must be self-sufficient, adaptable, and comfortable working with seismic crews
Qualifications & Certifications
Advance Care Paramedic certificate with a minimum of 1 year of experience and actively registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
Basic Oilfield Safety Tickets (H2S, Common Safety Orientation, WHMIS, all an asset. Potentially willing to offer training for the right candidate)
Other certifications to be discussed as new project requirements arise
