Paralegal in Notarial Law | North Shore

We have a great opportunity for a paralegal to work on the North Shore of Montreal.

You'll be working with a notary who's passionate about his work, on corporate and real estate files. Moreover, you'll be involved in major transactions and contribute fully to the firm's success.

YOUR ROLE:

You will work very closely with a notary and will be involved in a variety of files, mainly in real estate and corporate law:

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Draft mortgage deeds, deeds of sale and other legal documents required for real estate and corporate transactions;
  • Prepare authentic copies and essential legal documents;
  • Communicate professionally and proactively with clients and financial institutions to ensure transparent and efficient follow-up of ongoing files;
  • Ensure complete administrative follow-up of files from opening to archiving, ensuring that all details are documented as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in a notary's office;
  • Proficiency in corporate and real estate law procedures and processes;
  • Ability to draft legal documents clearly and accurately;
  • Good command of French, English is an asset;
  • Good organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
