The Role : As a Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) in the Recovery Room, you will provide expert patient care for individuals in the immediate post-operative period. • Assess and manage patients' pain, vital signs, and overall condition, intervening with appropriate treatments and medications as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on post-operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery plans, ensuring bilingual communication (English and French).
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal care during the patient's entire perioperative experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all care provided, interventions, and patient responses.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to patient safety, taking immediate actions to address complications or emergencies.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Canadian nursing experience in the recovery room.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
  • ACLS certification.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Please note that we are exclusively recruiting people who can legally work in Canada.
