The Nursing Technician supports the Registered Nurse by observing and documenting patient conditions. Working under close supervision, this role assists with patient support through activities such as mobility and helping with daily tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Assist patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and mobility to support recovery and care plans.
• Assess patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination to allocate resources and anticipate needs.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients in accordance with the care plan.
• Assist with clinical procedures such as monitoring blood glucose, recording vital signs, obtaining EKGs, applying restraints, and managing elimination needs.
• Maintain unit inventories of supplies and medical equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment adhering to safety standards.
• Ensure fall-risk patients have appropriate safety measures such as arm bands, socks, and signage.
• Document clinical procedures, patient interactions, and medication use to maintain detailed records.
• Respond promptly to delegation from registered nurses and share patient observations for effective collaboration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
