Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor experienced with logistics, import-export, e-commerce, and 3PL environments. This role focuses on efficient warehouse management, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet service levels and budgets. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with tools like AirTable and Ship Hero are preferred. Key responsibilities include optimizing warehouse space, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing budgets, meeting SLAs, and leading a motivated team. The ideal candidate excels in decision-making, communication, and team-building to drive operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the necessary headcount to carry out activities within your area.
  • Manage daily attendance, track vacations, suspensions, and absences, and authorize personnel leave during working hours as needed.
  • Oversee order deliveries to ensure compliance with SLAs (using AirTable).

Strategy and Development

  • Aid in establishing and applying best practices, vision, strategy, policies, and processes within warehouse operations to enhance performance.
  • General and Task Management

  • Uphold a professional, positive, and enthusiastic representation of the company.
  • Ensure all documentation related to incoming and outgoing goods is accurate, including item labeling in stock.
  • Keep all IT and automated systems updated and accurate.
  • Optimize warehouse space usage, including layout design and future capacity planning.
  • Identify and implement waste reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service, and training and safety records.
  • Budget and Financial Control

  • Manage and oversee plant cost budgets and expense proposals, ensuring compliance with related legal requirements.
  • Self-Management

  • Actively promote a positive team environment, addressing obstacles proactively.
  • Embrace challenges with balanced, safe decision-making.
  • Collaborate, negotiate, and work with key stakeholders to support compliance strategies.
  • Support senior management in fostering strong relationships with customers and suppliers by maintaining effective warehouse interactions.
  • Participate in daily management meetings.
  • Attend weekly improvement meetings, providing updates on project follow-ups.
  • Develop and manage procedures, formats, work instructions, and visual aids for routine tasks.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum 7 years of experience as Plant Manager.

  • Experience in logistics operations.
  • Experience in import-export, e-commerce
  • Experience with supply chains.
  • Experience in 3PL warehouses
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong initiative and proactivity.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to drill down into data and provide viable business solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and perform cost analysis.
  • Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance.
  • Ability to build, lead and motivate a trained team capable of meeting objectives.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience with Shiphero or similar ERP
  • Experience with Airtable or similar reporting solution
