Job descriptionParticipating in the installation of the IBA equipment on the Proton Therapy site with a broad exposure across all electro-mechanical sub-systems (cyclotron, gantry, power supply cabinets, electrical wiring, patient positioning equipment, etc...) Testing, calibrating and validating the equipment according to the specifications and ensuring the customer requirements are met in terms of compliance, quality, technical performance and timing Critically analyzing data to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Collaborating intensively during installation and commissioning phase with subcontractors to supervise the installation until the start-up of equipment Ensuring the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services Maintaining and troubleshooting the equipment Operating the system and providing technical support to the medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operations Ensuring the client requirements are met in terms of technical performance, timing and safety Training customers Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (shift work) Upgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the R&D and other departments A Bachelor or Master degree in electro-mechanical Engineering or an equivalent experience A sound experience in electrical cabling & systems troubleshooting and mechanical systems installation Technical knowledge of cooling systems, vacuum systems, electronic control units, drivers, sensors, electric motors, high and low voltage equipment The ability to troubleshoot complex systems The ability to work autonomously on well-defined tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English Knowledge of local EHS regulations Able to follow procedures and you able to deliver on strict deadlines Conscientious and organized, able to provide good quality reporting Analytical, with good troubleshooting skills, able to identify root cause of issues Willing to share your knowledge in your area of expertise A team player with strong interpersonal skills Willing to travel extensively during the training period (+ / - 6 months) A flexible person, willing to work in rotating shift work, night work and weekends (up to 50% of your time)

This position is the opportunity to participate to the launch of a new installation project in Center for Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Hospital Jakarta, Indonesia.
The center will be the first proton therapy system in Indonesia, located in the downtown of Jakarta near Monas National Monument. Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital is a military hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. Established in 1819, the hospital is the main hospital for the Indonesian Army.
The Proton Therapy Center will be equipped with IBA ProteusONE including :
- PBS dedicated nozzle
- CBCT
- UBTI
The installation of the Proton Therapy Center will start around November 2025 and will be delivered within 13 months.
