Schedule

The successful incumbent must be available to work day shifts Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Availability to cover vacation and sick during the week is a bonus. Please note schedules may change due to operational needs. 48_Budget Created with Sketch.

Patient care

Working independently in our participative, self-managed professional environment, you will apply your excellent patient care skills to perform various diagnostic cardiac examinations. These exams include Exercise Testing (with and without nuclear cardiac perfusion testing), Holter monitor hook-up / scanning and analysis, Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and resting ECG's. You will also conduct IV setup, advanced arrhythmia interpretation and patient physical assessments prior to stress tests.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred. Related allied health program, diploma mandatory (preferred three-year BSc degree) with relevant work experience. Registered member in good standing with OSCT or CSCT required. Experience in a cardiology laboratory with emphasis in Cardiac Stress Testing Holter Hook-Up and analysis, and Nuclear Perfusion Studies; in a hospital setting required. Current BCLS required.
