Summary : Our Thunder Bay location is hiring for a  Sample Preparation Technicians  to assist us in preparing samples for laboratory analysis. The schedule for this role will be 12 hour shifts  4 days on, 4 days off rotational days and nights . The expected end date  of the position  March 15th, 2025. Duties : Unpack, sort, check, crush and pulverize mineral samples using specialized equipment Safely follow standard operating procedures, and perform quality control checks as required Enter sample data into computer, ensuring accurate details Qualifications : High School Diploma Fork Lift certification / license is an asset Ability to lift 25 kg on a consistent basis Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail Intermediate computer skills Fluency in English, both verbal and written Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a mature work ethic Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management Commitment to the production of accurate and timely results Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE properly and follow all safety protocols Must be flexible to work day and night shifts including weekends on a 4 days on 4 days off rotation Why Work for AGAT?
