1.2.5.Createandmodifycodeandsoftware;
1.2.6.Designmethods and procedures for small computer systems, and sub-system of largersystems;

1.2.8.Produceforms,manuals,programs,datafiles,andproceduresforsystemsand / orapplications;And
1.2.9.Correctprogramerrorsbyrevisinginstructions oralteringthesequenceofoperations.
1.3.Providetechnicalsupportonanyotheraspectsofthelabandprototypescomputing&communicationsystemsas directedbytheTA,includingwithoutbeing limitedto :
1.3.1.Contributetorequirementsidentification / clarificationactivities,whichincludetheformulation,documentation,maintenanceand,verificationandvalidation(V&V)oftechnicalrequirements.This mayincludeanyofthe followingsub-tasks :
1.3.1.1.Requirementsinceptionorrequirementselicitation
1.3.1.1.1.Requirementsidentification-identifyingnewrequirements;
1.3.1.1.2.Requirementsanalysisandnegotiation-checkingrequirementsandresolvingstakeholderconflicts;
1.3.1.1.3.Requirementsspecification(Hardware / SoftwareRequirementsSpecification)-documenting therequirements in arequirements document;
1.3.1.1.4.Systemmodeling-derivingmodelsofthesystem,oftenusinganotationsuchastheUnifiedModelingLanguage;
1.3.1.1.5.Requirementsvalidation-checkingthatthedocumentedrequirementsandmodelsareconsistentandmeetstakeholder needs,and
1.3.1.1.6.Requirementsmanagement-managingchangestotherequirementsasthesystemis developedandputintouse.
1.3.2.Identificationofapplicablestandardsagainstwhichasystemorlaboratoryistobedevelopedand / or modified. If there are no published standards for a given designactivity,theplanningstage may includethedrafting ofnewstandards;
1.3.3.TechnicalStrategicPlanning;
1.3.4.SupportIntegrationefforts;
1.3.5.SupportTechnicalInvestigationandEngineeringStudies(TIES);
1.3.6.SupportTestingandEvaluation(T&E)activities;
1.3.7.Contributetosustainmentanddisposalefforts.
1.3.8.ImplementLabfunctionalitythat will replicatedevelopmental avionics & computingsystemsfor eventual implementationon specific aircraft fleets.Properimplementation of LabfunctionalitywillconsistofthedetaileddevelopmentofmissionsystemsoftwareanddesigndocumentationtakingintoconsiderationtheTechnicalAirworthinessProgram(TAP),softwarestandardsand industrypracticesforavionics systems;and
1.3.9.Preparetechnicalbriefings.
1.4.Providenetworking & virtualization Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice andtechnical support forother relatedactivities as agreed upon between the TA and the Contractor (e.g. : trainend-usersand newly involvedstakeholders, provide technical documentation to other stakeholders, attendrelevantmeetings / conferencesandsharefindingswiththeprojectteammembers,provideassistancewithnetworking appliances,inventorytracking).
Qualifications
- Must hold a College Diploma or UniversityDegree in an Information Technologyrelated domain (e.g. : ComputerScienceNetwork Management) with a specialization in networking. Ifanequivalencyisinvoked,itmustbefromaCanadianpost-secondaryeducation institution
- To be considered acceptableby Canada, each diploma must be fromarecognized Canadian university or college. The list of recognizedorganizations is posted on the Web site ofthe Canadian InformationCentreforInternationalCredentialsatthefollowingaddress : http : / / cicic.ca.
The proposed resource mustdemonstrate a minimum of five (5) yearsofpracticalexperienceinthelastten(10)yearsasNetworkAnalystaspart of an organization of at leasttwenty (20) employees and hold avalidCCNAcertification.
