Responsibilities

1.1.4.Supportthe productionoftechnicalspecificationfortheprocurementofnetworking/computingitems
1.1.5.Providesupportfortheidentificationofdatastoragesystemsmeetingtheprojectrequirements & constraints, prepare system specifications to supportthe procurementprocess and reviewtechnical justification(s), upon system delivery perform system setup,maintenance, operation & training forStorage Area Network (SAN/NAS/JBOD) relatedtechnologies
1.1.6.Providesupportfortheidentificationofsecurityappliancesmeetingtheprojectrequirements & constraints, preparesystem specifications to support the procurementprocess and review technical justification(s), upon systemdelivery perform system setup,maintenance,operation&trainingforsecurityappliancesincludingbutnotlimitedtoIn-lineNetworkEncryption,IPSecurity/tunneling,CrossDomainSolutions(CDS)/HighAssuranceGuards,firewalls,authenticationsystems,IntrusionDetection/PreventionSystems(IDS/IPS),self-encryptiondrives/diskencryptionsoftware

1.2.1.5.SymbologyintegrationindifferentGIStoolstofacilitateunderstandingofthesituationbyoperators(SituationAwareness(SA))andenablesensorcross-cueing.
1.2.2.Developand prepare diagrammatic plans for solution of business, scientific andtechnicalproblemsbymeansofcomputersystemsofsignificant sizeandcomplexity;
1.2.3.Analyzethe problems outlined by the systems analysts/designers in terms of suchfactorsas style and extent ofinformation to be transferred to and from storage units, variety ofitemstobeprocessed,extentofsorting,andformat offinalprintedresults;
1.2.4.Selectandincorporateavailablesoftwareprograms;
1.2.5.Createandmodifycodeandsoftware;
1.2.6.Designmethods and procedures for small computer systems, and sub-system of largersystems;
1.2.7.Develop,testandimplementsmallcomputersystems,andsub-systemsoflargersystems;
1.2.8.Produceforms,manuals,programs,datafiles,andproceduresforsystemsand/orapplications;And
1.2.9.Correctprogramerrorsbyrevisinginstructions oralteringthesequenceofoperations.
1.3.Providetechnicalsupportonanyotheraspectsofthelabandprototypescomputing&communicationsystemsas directedbytheTA,includingwithoutbeing limitedto:
1.3.1.Contributetorequirementsidentification/clarificationactivities,whichincludetheformulation,documentation,maintenanceand,verificationandvalidation(V&V)oftechnicalrequirements.This mayincludeanyofthe followingsub-tasks:
1.3.1.1.Requirementsinceptionorrequirementselicitation
1.3.1.1.1.Requirementsidentification-identifyingnewrequirements;
1.3.1.1.2.Requirementsanalysisandnegotiation-checkingrequirementsandresolvingstakeholderconflicts;
1.3.1.1.3.Requirementsspecification(Hardware/SoftwareRequirementsSpecification)-documenting therequirements in arequirements document;
1.3.1.1.4.Systemmodeling-derivingmodelsofthesystem,oftenusinganotationsuchastheUnifiedModelingLanguage;
1.3.1.1.5.Requirementsvalidation-checkingthatthedocumentedrequirementsandmodelsareconsistentandmeetstakeholder needs,and
1.3.1.1.6.Requirementsmanagement-managingchangestotherequirementsasthesystemis developedandputintouse.
1.3.2.Identificationofapplicablestandardsagainstwhichasystemorlaboratoryistobedevelopedand/or modified. If there are no published standards for a given designactivity,theplanningstage may includethedrafting ofnewstandards;
1.3.3.TechnicalStrategicPlanning;
1.3.4.SupportIntegrationefforts;
1.3.5.SupportTechnicalInvestigationandEngineeringStudies(TIES);
1.3.6.SupportTestingandEvaluation(T&E)activities;
1.3.7.Contributetosustainmentanddisposalefforts.
1.3.8.ImplementLabfunctionalitythat will replicatedevelopmental avionics & computingsystemsfor eventual implementationon specific aircraft fleets.Properimplementation of LabfunctionalitywillconsistofthedetaileddevelopmentofmissionsystemsoftwareanddesigndocumentationtakingintoconsiderationtheTechnicalAirworthinessProgram(TAP),softwarestandardsand industrypracticesforavionics systems;and
1.3.9.Preparetechnicalbriefings.
1.4.Providenetworking & virtualization Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice andtechnical support forother relatedactivities as agreed upon between the TA and the Contractor (e.g.: trainend-usersand newly involvedstakeholders, provide technical documentation to other stakeholders, attendrelevantmeetings/conferencesandsharefindingswiththeprojectteammembers,provideassistancewithnetworking appliances,inventorytracking).
Qualifications
·Must hold a College Diploma or UniversityDegree in an Information Technologyrelated domain (e.g.: ComputerScienceNetwork Management) with a specialization in networking. Ifanequivalencyisinvoked,itmustbefromaCanadianpost-secondaryeducation institution*.

The proposed resource mustdemonstrate a minimum of five (5) yearsofpracticalexperienceinthelastten(10)yearsasNetworkAnalystaspart of an organization of at leasttwenty (20) employees and hold avalidCCNAcertification.
