Requirements :
Completion of the MN-NP program with a Family Nurse Practitioner designation.
Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
At least one year of clinical experience in primary healthcare, including assessing and treating children, youth, and adults in acute, community, or outpatient care settings, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and management.

Job Responsibilities :
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing medical procedures.
Develop and implement comprehensive, shared client care plans tailored to individual needs.
Deliver health promotion, client education, and disease prevention strategies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, high-quality client care.
Provide comprehensive well-baby and childcare services using evidence-based health supervision guidelines for children from birth to age five and from age six to 18.
Conduct developmental and psychosocial screenings for children and adolescents.
Address mental health needs through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Offer client education via individual consultations, webinars, and newsletters.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support patient care and team success.
