Your Job

DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a highly organized NDE Technician to perform the in-lab and in-ditch assessment to inform the validation and development of our newly launched pipeline inspection technology. This role encompasses benchmarking and communicating the performance of the novel technology for specific industry use cases. We are looking for someone who blends excellent organization, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical information and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders (product, sales, research, and engineering).

  • Help identify and specify requirements for test samples and test setups
  • Conduct equipment setup, calibration, and system checks
  • Utilize our data analysis software to provide an assessment of the results
  • Inspection Programs

  • Be the subject matter expert on best practices of in-the-ditch pipeline inspection techniques and methodologies
  • Help develop training materials and provide guidance to our Research and Analysis teams
  • Be responsible for technical oversight and qualification programs of our analysis procedures, and ensure industry standards are met
  • Support continuous improvement of inspection techniques and workflows
  • Communication

  • Distill the results into easily digestible reports and presentations
  • Help distill and share industry standards for detection and sizing to the broader company
  • Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of relevant NDE experience
