Adecco is currently hiring a Test Technician for a full-time opportunity in Cambridge, ON. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and calibrating test systems, verifying product performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring all testing activities meet quality and safety standards.
- Salary: $28.00/hour
- Location: Cambridge, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM (with potential afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday)

Responsibilities- Operate and calibrate test systems according to established specifications and safety requirements.
- Perform testing, verification, and reporting of devices under test.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues by diagnosing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support test setup upgrades, modifications, and process improvements.
- Follow and execute established testing procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Document all testing activities accurately within designated software systems.
- Maintain equipment records and prepare detailed test reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the testing and manufacturing environment.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Diploma in a relevant field such as Engineering, Electronics, Technology, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in an electronics testing or technical support role.
- Must be eligible to obtain both Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and CSP clearances.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is an asset.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical drawings, and process maps.
- Understanding of RF Theory is considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
