Position Overview
The Mental Health Assistant performs a variety of patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal and emotional needs of adult and / or geriatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will rotate between the Co-Occurring Disorders Unit in Webster and the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in Southbridge.

Unit Description
Our inpatient psychiatric unit at Harrington includes a medical director, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, and mental health clinicians. We offer specialized inpatient services using latest therapies, sensory rooms, and group meetings. We collaborate with patients and families to design comprehensive after-care plans aimed at helping patients reintegrate into the community and lead productive lives.
