Medical clerk Jobs in Vaughan, ON

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Vaughan, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoice coding, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is adept at maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Process and code invoices accurately to ensure timely payments and maintain financial integrity.
• Reconcile account discrepancies by conducting thorough research and updating account information as needed.
• Review and flag expense reports for any policy violations or exceptions, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate departments.
• Perform data entry tasks, including scanning and batching invoices for payment processing.
• Handle vendor inquiries, issuing payments, and maintaining vendor files to ensure accurate records.
• Match and clear account information for vendor payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Sort and categorize incoming mail, preparing documents for processing or routing to the appropriate departments.
• Conduct basic account reconciliations and monitor transactions to identify and resolve irregularities.
• Support the Accounts Payable department with clerical tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve payment-related concerns.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Oracle or SAP.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and analysis.
• Experience with invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with vendor statement reconciliation and vendor inquiry resolution.
• Knowledge of 3-way matching and other accounts payable procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established policies and procedures.
