The Opportunity

This position is part of the Eastern Resources division, which provides a full range of services to industrial and mining operators. The Industrial Mechanical Technician / Designer (3D) will work from our Sept-Îles office as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing construction projects for new infrastructure or modifications to existing facilities.

Your Impact

• Review client needs, specifications, and tender documents.
• Contribute to establishing effective work methods for project delivery.
• Support conceptual and feasibility studies for industrial projects of all scales.
• Perform 3D modeling and design for various projects.
• Produce drawings, specifications, and details based on industrial-sector guidelines.
• Ensure coordination among the various disciplines involved in projects.
• Supervise and verify the work of mechanical technicians and designers.
• Participate in estimating deliverables and schedules for project execution.
• Participate in the launch of new projects and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Identify and manage design issues through preventive and corrective actions.
• Conduct field surveys on industrial sites using modern tools (drones, scanners, laser tape).
• Perform construction site inspections in heavy industrial environments.
