Job Summary :
Field Service Technicians perform a variety of tasks such as servicing, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and repair of equipment. A Field Service Technician is required to travel to well site locations that are located regionally or internationally . Focus of this Field Service Technician will be in mechanical service.
We are looking for candidates with basic Electrical and Mechanical Skills, able to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Material Handling- moving material including the use of overhead cranes, Jib cranes or Forklifts.
- Mechanical and / or Electrical / Electronics servicing, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and repair.
- Cleaning and management of assigned tools and vehicle.
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- 24-hour on-call duties required at given times.
- Maintain strong business relationship with existing clients.
- Communicate with a FS Manager or Supervisor regularly, on all aspects of service.
- Complete reporting, job and billing paper work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience) :
This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.
