Salary range - $75,000 to $85,000 / year
Job Posting - Director of Sales & Marketing
Lead the property's sales objectives including identifying and managing key accounts, attracting new clients, coordinating and completing various sales activities, Primary focus on developing corporate accounts in the local market. Additional segments include banquets, sports, tour and small groups.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Returns :
Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increased productivity.
- Maintain focus on selling guest room accommodation and other services to drive revenue and improve property market share.
People :
Ensure strong customer relations through frequent communication, professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interactions. Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Provide sales training to hotel staff, as appropriate. Answering clients' comments, issues and complaints. Provide day to day leadership in achieving high levels of guest satisfaction
Guest Experience :
Train and lead all team members to deliver a superior guest experience. Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships. Carry out the special needs and requests of guests, VIP, repeat visitors and club members.
Responsible Business :
ACCOUNTABILITY : Achieve weekly activity goals : property sites, prospecting calls, entertainment and sales calls. Preparation of weekly sales reports. Implementation of property / individual actions plans and participation in weekly and quarterly meetings. Comply with attendance expectations and be available to work on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is likely to have worked at least 3 years in a hotel environment, be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service.
Preference given to candidates with Holiday Inn experience.
