Overview
Powerhouse Controls is a world-class drive and automation systems integration supplier since 1992. We seek individuals who embody innovation, collaboration, and integrity to shape the future of control systems and automation.
Position Overview
As an Automation Integration Specialist on the Implementation Team, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering clear, controlled, and empowered solutions. You’ll configure, build, and refine real systems—from developing SCADA and PLC logic to implementing data pipelines and contributing to solution architecture. You’ll bridge our platform vision (like NEXIA) with what runs on the factory floor. You’ll define requirements, design solutions, support installations, and lead portions of commissioning to ensure the solution is functional and trusted. You’ll collaborate with Implementation Team Leads and Project Managers to translate requirements into robust, maintainable, and intuitive deployments.
Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy DTG toolkits and platform components, including NEXIA, SCADA interfaces, and data logging systems.
- Develop SCADA visualizations, dashboards, and alarming logic to support operator-friendly HMI systems.
- Write and debug PLC code for equipment-level control and system integration.
- Support the development of field-configurable templates for deployment reuse.
- Define system requirements following sales handoff and customer kickoff.
- Design and develop robust solutions with reliability and maintainability as key metrics.
- Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), support field commissioning activities, and site acceptance tests (SAT).
- Perform structured systems testing to ensure stability, traceability, and uptime.
- Document system configurations, logic flow, and device mappings for clear handoffs.
- Work with Implementation Leads and Platform teams to design technically sound solutions and identify risks early.
- Help guide toolkit selection and platform customization as needed.
- Participate in on-site training and operator onboarding; ensure customers understand deployed solutions and rationale.
- Capture feedback for internal teams and contribute to customer documentation strategy.
