As an Assistant Project Manager in our Civil and Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will manage large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $ million to upwards of $1 billion - while working closely with our client groups and subcontractors and acting as an integral part of our projects team.

What you will do

• Assist and guide the project team with coordination and project support.
• Take pride in your ability to effectively review, interpret and update the construction schedules.
• Utilize your passion for organization through maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
• Effectively collect, review and analyze project quotes with emphasis on obtaining the very best prices in the market.
• Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project. Effectively apply the requirements of the project specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.
• Support in the maintenance and building of positive relationships with subtrades, clients and project stakeholders.
