Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our clients manufacturing team in Bowmanville, ON. As a CNC Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring high-quality output and optimal efficiency. Detailed Job Description : As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for :

  • Reading and interpreting engineered drawings.
  • Performing setups and making program changes for yourself and others.
  • Designing and specifying jigs to maximize efficiencies.
  • Loading and securing raw materials using appropriate clamps, jigs, and other devices.
  • Conducting first piece inspections prior to starting production runs.
  • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Completing quality control tests at various manufacturing stages and on the final product.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the machines.
  • Training new employees on machine operation procedures.
  • Recommending changes in process or tooling to Supervisor or Plant Manager.
  • Investigating and resolving machining problems.
  • Continuous process and procedure improvement.
  • Candidate's Profile :

  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience for new hires.
  • Formal machinist training and experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy materials onto machines and stand for prolonged periods.
