Job description2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience (manufacturing preferred). Strong understanding of full-cycle AP, journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliations. Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP). Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines. Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field; pursuing CPA is an asset. Key Responsibilities :
- Manage full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) processes : invoice entry, coding, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, and reporting support.
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, AP, AR, inventory, intercompany).
- Support finance team with audit prep, data analysis, and ad hoc projects.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
