The Role
This position is responsible for coordinating the schedules of technicians, managing service requests via email and phone calls, and ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and efficiently. The Scheduling Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbers and portable toilet technicians.
Responsibilities
- Answering customer phone calls, emails and scheduling all technicians
- Assign service calls to technicians based on their availability, location, and expertise
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate urgent requests or changes
- Create and manage work orders into the software system
- Communicate with technicians to ensure they have all necessary information, tools, and materials for each job
- Monitor the progress of jobs and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Data entry Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable into QuickBooks
- Submitting all technician’s daily paperwork
Requirements
2+ years of administrative and or customer service experience is requiredDispatching or scheduling technicians experience is preferredExperience with MS Office and QuickBooks is preferredPost secondary education is preferredStrong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindsetStrong problem solving skills as well as critical thinking in order to make decisions under pressureAdvantages
