Insight Pest Solutions is one of the fastest growing residential home service companies in Canada, and we’re just getting started. With that growth comes real opportunity for driven, self motivated individuals who want more than just a job.

We’re looking for people ready to grow their careers alongside a company expanding across the country and into new markets.

As a Seasonal Junior Technician, you’re not just providing a service, you’re building trust. You’re the face of the company in our customers’ homes, delivering expertise, professionalism, and peace of mind. From identifying pest issues to recommending effective solutions, your work ensures homeowners feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

We’re a company that’s always evolving. Through ongoing research and development, we continue to advance environmentally conscious products, safer methodologies, and smarter service delivery. Our seasonal prevention and home-maintenance programs help protect homes from mosquitoes, ants, wasps, ticks, spiders, and mice, and we’re constantly raising the bar on what great service looks like.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Why Join Insight Pest Solutions?

  • Competitive wage
  • Company vehicle and gas card provided
  • Live rent-free in beautiful Dorset, Muskoka for the summer
  • Experience living and working in Ontario’s iconic cottage country
  • Consistent daily routes with short drive times between locations
  • Full-time hours with opportunities for overtime
  • Commission on new business and bonuses based on work completed
  • Opportunities for career growth — we love promoting from within
  • Positive, energetic team culture with strong support from management

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of equipment
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces (crawl spaces) and damp or dusty areas
  • Ability to perform physical duties such as walking, crouching, balancing, and reaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Reliable with strong communication skills
  • Someone who takes pride in their work
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • Quick thinker who enjoys problem-solving
  • Interest in pest control or learning a skilled trade
  • Valid G or G2 driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
  • Must be willing to relocate to Muskoka for the summer

We will support you in obtaining your Structural Exterminator License, including training materials, study assistance, and help registering for the exam.

Important: Before starting in the field, successful candidates must complete their licensing exam and required training.

If you’re looking for a summer opportunity to earn good money, gain hands-on experience, and live rent-free in beautiful Muskoka, we’d love to hear from you.
