Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

Requirements:

Strong command of Ruby on Rails and a solid grasp of MVC architecture
Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and UI/UX best practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for hosting and application management
Knowledge of web service protocols, including REST and SOAP, as well as XML and JSON data formats
Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and T-SQL scripting
Proficiency with application development tools such as Visual Studio Code or Eclipse; WCF services experience is a plus
Understanding of microservices architecture and experience deploying applications in containerized environments using Docker or similar tools
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or TFS for automated testing and deployment
Experience working in Linux environments; Bash shell scripting knowledge is an advantage
Strong understanding of OOP principles, multithreading, debugging techniques, unit testing frameworks, and SDLC processes
Excellent collaboration skills with experience in Agile teams using Scrum practices; Git version control expertise is essential

Responsibilities:

Build, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, with a focus on performance and responsiveness
Design and develop RESTful APIs and web services to support smooth communication between system components
Partner with front-end developers to connect user-facing features with server-side logic using JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
Improve application performance through code reviews, troubleshooting, and best practices for database design using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
Work in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban to support timely delivery of features and updates
Maintain version control through GitHub or SVN and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
