Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the TEMPORARY Recruiter plays a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and selecting top-tier candidates to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies, building a strong talent pipeline, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Recruiter is expected to be customer service-oriented and exhibit a high degree of diplomacy and discretion.
Accountabilities
Recruiting
- Supports the recruiting strategy to ensure FMB attracts high caliber talent in a timely manner;
- Performs full cycle recruitment to support all business lines by completing tasks such as : Conducting phone screens Scheduling interviews Creating interview questions Interviewing Criminal reference checks Personal reference checks
- Creates and monitors job postings, advertising externally as needed;
- Determines sourcing & attraction strategies / methodologies to increase FMB's ability to attract, source and recruit indigenous candidates;
- Supports orientation of new employees as needed;
- Ensures compliance with local and federal Employment Standards.
